Endometriosis Infertility
Endometriosis which comes from the word endo that means inside and the word metra that means womb is a disorder or a disease that affects the uterus of a woman. The uterus is the place as to where the baby will be developed during the pregnancy period. The uterus of a woman usually has a tissue that lines it; in endometriosis, these tissues develop in the areas of the external surface of the urine cavity. These tissues would grow on the ovaries, at the back of the uterus or even on the bowels or bladder. On odd occasions, it can also develop in the other parts of the body.
Those tissues which are misplaced in a manner of speaking will cause excruciating pain, infertility and incredibly heavy menstrual periods. A person with this kind of condition usually feels the pain in the abdomen area, the lower back or the pelvic areas. One of the first symptoms of endometriosis is the inability to get pregnant or infertility; that is why it often goes by the name endometriosis infertility.
Even though the cause of endometriosis has not been found out yet, doctors recommend pain medicines or pain relievers and hormones to help people with this kind of disorder. For women with endometriosis, there are also treatments to assist with their infertility problems.
Although a great number of women with endometriosis are still able to get pregnant naturally, surgery would still be an alternative for other women who are having complexities in conception. Surgery will be able to assist in increasing the possibilities of getting pregnant. If the procedure of the surgery does not work, they can also turn to other treatments such as intrauterine insemination or in-vitro fertilization.
Concurrently there is no specific cure for endometriosis, but in about a large number of patients, menopause whether it is natural or surgical, is capable of reducing the process. For those women who only have endometriosis that is not so severe, there is a possibility that they would not require any treatment. Doctors do treat a number of patients with hormones and pain relievers, which may perhaps be capable of stopping the ailment.
